Rain Bird 2045A Maxi-Paw™
/ 2045A-SAM
Full- or Part-Circle Impact Rotor Pop-Up Sprinklers
Primary Application
The Maxi-Paw's
powerful throw permits maximum spacing and offers superior
close-in watering and uniform water distribution. Low
pressure loss and an efficient, straight-through flow
design conserve energy and are ideal for dirty water applications.
The optional Seal-A-Matic™ prevents run-off, puddling,
and erosion caused by low head drainage. And most important,
it's rugged and dependable, popping up on schedule again
and again because of the multi-function wiper seal. The
Maxi-Paw Rotor- a tradition of excellence.

Performance Charts
To
use the charts below:
-
Using
the pressure column, locate the pressure your sprinkler
head will be a exposed to (the pressure at the head).
-
Next,
look at the radius column within the pressure section
you identified above, and choose the distance you
want the water to go (remember that the distance published
are the max distances under perfect conditions with
the stars lined up just right, so assume the published
distances are about 5 feet more than then really cover).
-
Now
you will be able to determine which nozzle to use
to get the distance you want at the pressure your
sprinkler head pressure.
-
You
can also see how much water each sprinkler head will
use at a given pressure using a selected nozzle, so
you can determine the gallons per minute a zone will
use.
An
example is that if I know my pressure at the head will
be about 45 psi, and I want the water throw to be about
36 feet, I will need to use a # 8, nozzle (since you know
the sprinkler will not really throw 40 feet using a #
8 nozzle...remember place it safe and do not space the
heads too far apart).
